I introduced myself and our company including our product quality, factory, QC system, design department, etc. Tom said he would visit China in June.
When he flew to Qingdao airport, our boss and I picked up him up. He said many Foshan factories had invited him to Foshan, but he wouldn’t go. He only came to Qingdao because of my service. He praised me, so I was very happy when I heard that. He took the small samples I had arranged our factory to make as to his requirements. He stayed Qingdao one week, so I took him to all of Qingdao’s places of the interest. Something worth mentioning is that his neck was hurt, so we took him to see a Chinese doctor. He was so surprised when his neck was cured by the massage and Chinese herbal medicine. He was very happy and impressed with us.
When the samples pictures were sent to him and the price quoted, he placed an order. Even though it was a small order, we believed he would place more orders.

Up till now, he has placed two orders with us. We have given more support in prices and samples, even in payment terms. Because his business is in the startup stage, and there’s some difficulties in money, our company gave him greater specialized help.
As a salesman, we should communicate with our client by heart.
