How To Clean Carrara Marble?

Italian white marble, also named as Carrara marble, continues to be popular from the period of ancient Rome until now. This kind of marble is used by some of the most famous Italian buildings and historical sites, including the Pantheon and Colonna Traiana. Its production place is located in Tuscany, around Carrara. At present, Carrara marble is being sold from China to all over the world. Maybe the kitchen and bathroom in your house are made of this marble, but do you know how to clean the Carrara mosaic marble?

Step 1: Soak the sponge or cloth in warm water to clean the marble’s surface. After rinsing the cloth clean with hot water, wring it until dry. Wipe the marble again to eliminate any left marks. If the Carrara mosaic marble in your house has not been cleaned for a long time, you can follow the steps belowStep 2: Drop some neutral non-corrosive cleaner on a clean dry cloth, such as acetone and hydrogen peroxide which can remove any dirt or light stain. Wash the marble with clean water. Dry the surface with microfiber cloth (chamois) and don’t allow it to be air-dried. Step 3: Coat polish on the marble. Please use it correctly according to the description of products so as to recover the gloss of the marble. Steps to clean stubborn stains:Step 1: If the conventional cleaning doesn’t work, prepare some whitening mixture and make it into a paste. Mix the powder in accordance with the description on packaging until it becomes thick to some extent.Step 2: Put the paste on the stains, cover with fresh-keeping film and fix by adhesive tape, until the paste becomes completely dry. This process may last for several days.Step 3: Take off the fresh-keeping film. Wipe it up with a soft cleaning cloth.
