Georg is one of the customers who came to our booth and was interested in our products. Vivian and I received him and his assistant at the Xiamen Stone Fair. He looked at the Snow White Exhibition Board, whispered with his assistant—Mary- then we had a conversation about Snow White. He looked the same as the other customers and I did not especially treat him .
On the way back to Qingdao, I received his inquiry about our Snow White Tiles. I was so happy because he is the first customer I got in touch with. I told him my situation and promised to make the quotation to him immediately when I arrived at the office. I was still sitting in the bus, but my heart had already flown to the office—I could hardly wait to reply to his email and try my best to make him place an order with us!
As he informed in his email, he wanted snow white tiles of 150x300x30mm, sandblasted, and tumbled for French or Roman pattern. I got the price list from Sherry and quoted him the price with the help of Vivian and Henry. We calculated the price carefully, and Lillian made a drawing of French pattern for him. I was confident about this order. Surprisingly, he thought it was too high. Then I was told the price point should be at around $19 to $23 and the material he wanted exactly was Cloudy Gray. He had even received a quotation of $17! I tried to contact our purchasing manager, Mirror. She contacted the factory immediately when she heard the situation. I got a price well-matched with Georg’s requirement the next day. Now, I am preparing samples for him, because he wants to see some samples in the USA office and talk about doing business together!
I am glad that I have a dependable team behind me! I have nothing to worry about with the help of them. I believe we can go further in the coming future. I love every cute member of this family. I love Century!
