Mosaics with crystal arabesque currently produced have super white and regular white kinds, with the size of 125 * 160 * 8mm. The production of mosaic with crystal arabesque have two techniques: first cutting and then printing, and first printing and then cutting. Our factory chooses the former to process. Its production process is as follows:
1. To make the entire product drawing of the arabesque, and to make CAD drawings of water knife operation according to the size of the lantern;
2. To set the operational procedure of the water knife according to CAD drawings, and then to put the optical glass plate on the operating floor and then cut it with the water knife;
3. To clean the cut optical glass arabesque with clear water before wiping them with a dry dishcloth, and then dry them on the tray;
4. To paint the top and bottom layer of the dry optical glass and dry them again on a tray, to pay attention to printing forcibly so as to minimize errors;
5. To take the dry arabesque when the printing is done to clean the side and surface with a dishcloth;
6. To put the clean arabesque on a refractory slab to put into the furnace to fire, and then put them on the shelf for natural cooling;
7. To choose qualified crystal glass lanterns fired on the corresponding position of the template, then paste fiber net soaked by white latex on their back and put them into the furnace to dry them, and put them on the shelf for natural cooling;
8. To choose whole crystal arabesque after cooling, and then pack the qualified arabesque; to replace the particles of unqualified arabesque and repeat the above procedures until it’s qualified.
Super white crystal arabesque with manual printing are better, but as the workers print with less and less strength, regular white arabesque have some color aberration. Therefore, the operation of skilled workers will have a better effect.
