Do you believe that love at first sight can doom the fate of one’s whole life?
Occasionally, I’ve heard the name of Baikal White Marble mentioned by someone beside me without any presupposition, preparation or plan. I felt so curious as soon as I heard it. Could a stone have such a name? What would it look like? Blue? Or with some white embellishment on it? I thought it was just because I had such a kind of presupposition before seeing it, I kept it in mind after realizing it was totally different from my imagination.
Until now, I’m always thinking about why it has become my favorite.
Perhaps the reason why I am biased comes from the name—Baikal White Marble. A poetic name makes people have a distinct happiness and relaxed feeling when hearing it, as if standing in the vast world at once.
And then, I still remember the feeling at the first sight of its appearance when I rushed to it because of my curiosity. Its sharp line was full of resolution without any hesitation or break.
Afterwards, I asked my colleagues and Google to learn more information. But I failed. Maybe because it’s so uncommon that most people know little about it.
After that, all of my understanding of it seems to have ended here.
Probably the reason why many people like Oriental White is because it possesses a special oriental beauty, like a splash-ink landscape painting- fluent, elegant and gentle as a jade.
I know everyone has his own favorite, but in my opinion, their falling in love with it is because his heart has been affected and touched by it. Just like me, what I lack and pursue all the time is courage and determination. Therefore, when I see it at first sight, I fell in love with it.
In fact, whether it's with people or things, falling in love is such a simple thing, isn’t it?
